Chapter 23. 4 days before marriage
Min woke up early the next day. Her mum told her to get ready fast, she's bringing her to find the Wedding Dress. Taemin on the other hand, woke up really early to have a walk around the town. Min got into her dad's car and begin their journey to a boutique. While she was in the car, she looked out of the window and saw Taemin with his hand gripping a ring case.
"Appa, please stop here for awhile. Since the boutique isn't that far, I'll walk from here," Min ordered.
"But.."
"No buts, appa. Please," Min said angrily before getting out.
Min walked towards Taemin who didn't notice her at all.
"Min, I couldn't even propose to you. You are someone else's," Taemin thought to himself loudly.
Min heard him murmuring. She hugged Taemin from the back. Taemin turned and saw Min crying.
"Min!" Taemin exclaimed pushing her away.
"Y.. You must not hug me anymore. We're over," Taemin explained.
"Oppa, that day in the park. You.. You wanted to propose didn't you?" Min sobbed.
Taemin looked up at her. Her mascara running down her face. Her wedding is in 4 days time, and Taemin had no idea about it.
"Y..Ye, you better go now, before anyone see us," Taemin walked away.
Min grabbed his hand. She felt totally hopeless and useless. She hurt Taemin. A lot. Taemin had no idea. At all.
"Oppa.. My wedding is in 4 days time, will you come?" Min asked without even looking at Taemin.
"T..That was fast," Taemin stammered looking away from Min.
"I will," Taemin agreed.
Min let his hand go and Taemin watched her leave shivering and crying. Taemin couldn't do anything or even say anything. He walked away and continued to walk.
'She saw the ring case,' Taemin thought foolishly.
'I saw the ring case,' Min thought to herself.
'Why won't you confess, oppa,' Min sobbed to herself.
'I couldn't do it,' Taemin fought back his tears.
Min arrived at the boutique and picked out her dress. Taemin ran to Min's house, waiting by the door. Min's car arrived at the house and when Min stepped out of the car, the first person she saw was, Taemin.
"Oppa," Min mouthed.
Taemin stood up and greeted Min's parents.
"Sir, Ma'am, I would like to propose to Min," Taemin said with a 90 degree bow.
Mr and Mrs Kim couldn't say anything. They stared from their daughter who smiled and tears rolled down her cheeks to Taemin who is holding on the ring case.
'T..Tears of joy,' Mrs Kim thought to herself.
