Chapter 6. Acceptance or Rejection?
Min got up from the stool and ran after Taemin. Key and Minho smiled. They thought it'll be a victory if Min accepted Taemin's feelings.
"Lee Taemin!" Min shouted across the hallway.
Taemin turned around and found Min panting. Luckily for them, there was no one other than them due to Lunch. Min walked over to Taemin and start hitting him on his chest.
"Yah!" Taemin grabbed her hand to stop her.
Min looked up at Taemin then look away. All Min could think of is him, that's why she didn't had a good night rest. She doesn't want this to happen again. Min wanted to be single and suddenly, Taemin came and corrupted her mind.
"Sorry, Taemin. I cannot accept your feelings." Min said.
Taemin stared at her. He smiled even though it hurts him.
"It's okay," Taemin replied.
'No it's not okay.' Taemin thought.
Taemin turned and walk away. Tears filled up his eyes. He wiped it away and walk calmly to his classroom. Min felt guilty and couldn't face Taemin at all.
'I insulted him. I broke his heart. I should be feeling better, but why do I feel guilty. Ah, this isn't right.' Min thought to herself.
Min walked back to the canteen and found her best friends waiting for her at their normal spot. Young Hae noticed Min was upset by the way she walks. But she didn't say a word and didn't pointed it out to Min. Instead, she kept quiet and continue to fiddle with her books.
"I feel guilty," Min suddenly said.
"Wae?" Jin Shin asked.
Before Min could reply, Minho walked over to their table and turned to Jin Shin.
"Uhh.. I heard from Young Hae, you like me. Is it true?" Minho asked Jin Shin shyly.
"Ah, erm.. Uh.." Jin Shin fidget.
Young Hae and Shin Shin were already laughing at Jin Shin. Of course Jin Shin likes Minho. Who doesn't like this charismatic guy.
"Y..yeah." Jin Shin answered while hiding her face.
Minho smiled and said, "I like you too. See you later."
Minho walked away and waved at Jin Shin's unnies. Jin Shin was shocked at Minho's answer and blushed. Young Hae and Shin Shin high five each other. Jin Shin's feelings got accepted by the Flaming Charismatic Minho. Min admired Minho's bravery. She grab her bag and leave her friends behind. She couldn't help but feeling guilty every time Taemin entered her mind. She went to the bathroom and splashed water onto her face.
"Yah, why do I keep thinking about him?" Min thought loudly.
'I already rejected him. I don't want to think about him anymore.' Min whispered.
On the other hand, Taemin punched his fist onto his locker.
'Babo, you're a babo, Lee Taemin.' Taemin told himself.
Jonghyun who appeared out of nowhere noticed that Taemin was punching his locker. He approached him and said,
"No use punching a locker over her. Forget her."
Taemin pushed Jonghyun away and walk off from him and his locker.
