Chapter 7. Confusions and Guilts.
Min woke up the next day. She felt guilt running through her blood. Luckily for her, it was a weekend . She grab her laptop and switched it on. But with all the guilts running in her, she didn't feel like using the net, so she shut it off. Taemin woke up feeling upset.
"Good morning, girlfriend," Chung Ae teased.
"Morning." Taemin replied.
Chung Ae was shocked that Taemin didn't chased after her. Taemin grabbed his towel and walked lazily to the bathroom and had a long warm bath. He didn't want to think about Min's rejection. He didn't want to think about Min herself.
"Taemin, don't take long showers. It's bad for your skin, especially at this age." Taemin's aunt called out while knocking on the bathroom door.
After bath, Taemin wore a fresh Mickey Mouse t-shirt and white jeans. Taemin put on his blue padded jacket, grab a toast and walk out of the door without saying anything to his Uncle nor Aunt. He wore his Nike sneakers and went for a walk in the cold. Taemin don't feel like talking to anyone at all. While walking, he bumped into a familiar long black hair girl.
"Aigo," the girl said.
"Sorry," Taemin apologized and walked away.
That girl was Min, she stood up and noticed that Taemin bumped into her. At first, her heart told her to run after him. But she followed her mind which tells her to ignore him, and continue walking. Even though Min had the urge to call out to Taemin, she just walked away. The guilts in her begin to run faster. She finally made up her mind and ran after Taemin.
"Oppa!" Min called out.
Taemin turned and saw Min running towards him. Taemin kept staring at her until she reached him by 3cm away.
"What do you want?" Taemin looked away.
"Oppa, I'm sorry about yesterday." Min apologized with a 90 degree bow.
"Hm. Anything else?" Taemin scoffs.
"Oppa, you're still mad. I can tell," Min stared at the white snow surrounding her feet.
Taemin couldn't say anything but look away from Min.
"Nothing else, I guess. I'll be leaving. Annyeonghi kyeseyo," Taemin bowed and walk away from Min.
Min watched him leave from her spot. She feel the guilts running in her faster than ever. But she couldn't run after Taemin anymore. He decided to leave. Min walk away too, then.
'I don't think she knows what I am thinking,' Taemin thought to himself.
He sighed and sat on bench near a fountain. Taemin stared at the kids playing at the playground, then to the ground where all the snow surround his leg. A kitten played playfully around Taemin's leg. Taemin picked it up and said,
"Why do I keep thinking about her?"
The kitten mewed and purred. It licked Taemin's finger. Taemin felt comfortable with the kitten's company. The only thing troubling him is Min. Min had been on his mind ever since the first day they met.
