Chapter 8. Return of the past lover.
Taemin fell asleep on the bench when someone approached him and rest their head on Taemin's shoulder. Taemin woke up and found that Min was leaning against his shoulder. Taemin shrugged and cause Min to sit up straight again.
"Taemin oppa, I think.. I should let you know," Min bit her lips.
"Know what? About the rejection? Forget it, Min. I don't even want to talk about it," Taemin stood up.
But Min grab his hand before he could take a step. Min didn't want to lose her chance anymore. She couldn't let her guilt take over her body. She doesn't want to see Taemin ignoring her every time. Min had enough of all those. She had to confess.
"Oppa, I.. I.. Like you, actually." Min said while she gently letting Taemin go.
"Wh..What? Are you toying with my feelings again, Min?" Taemin said angrily.
Min shook her head.
'This time it's real, Taemin,' Min thought to herself.
Taemin pulled Min's arm that caused her to stand up. Taemin pulled Min's waist closer and they kissed. Min was too shocked to push him away.
'It's your chance now, Lee Taemin,' Taemin thought.
"O..Oppa." Min stuttered while she rub her fingers against her lips slowly after they kissed.
"I'm sorry, Min. Next time, don't hide anything from me," Taemin said while hugging Min.
Both of them heard a loud gasp. They turned and saw a sturdy looking man.
"Ah! Chin Ho!" Min exclaimed.
"M..Min." That guy said.
Min stared from Taemin to Chin Ho. Chin Ho could only stared at the both of them. Taemin glared at Chin Ho as if he is the prey.
"Who is this namja?" Taemin asked Min without taking his sight off Chin Ho.
"A..Ah. This is Chin Ho. He is my.. ex-lover," Min's voice faded away.
Chin Ho approached Taemin to shake hands but Taemin pushed his hand away, refusing to make friends with Min's past lover.
"I have to go," Taemin said without looking at both of them and walked away.
Min and Chin Ho watched as Taemin's back faced them and he walks away.
'I don't know why. But I think Min is toying with me.' Taemin thought angrily to himself.
While walking, he kicked the snow, created a snowball and throw at any sign he sees. He felt so angry about Min's past lover, for no reason at all. Taemin walked home straightaway. He pull out his sneakers and socks furiously, zipped open his jacket violently and stormed up into his room.
"Umma, what's wrong with Taeminnie oppa today? He didn't even see me wave at him," Juri said while tugging at Taemin's Aunt dress.
"Jin jja? Mollayo. He looks angry and upset, don't disturb him today okay?" Taemin's Aunt said while patting her daughter's head softly.
Chung Ae overheard her sister and mum's conversation and decided to confront Taemin.
"Yah! Why won't you smile or wave at Juri?!" Chung Ae barges into Taemin's room.
"I didn't see her wave," Taemin replied firmly.
"You.. Will you just tell us your problem?" Chung Ae poked Taemin's back.
Taemin turned furiously and gave Chung Ae a deadly glare. Chung Ae back off and slammed the door hard.
'What's wrong with you, Taemin. You never once so angry like this.' Chung Ae sighed at Taemin's door and walked back to her room.
